Business Analyst
Road Ranger, a multi-state Travel Center company, is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Marketing Department at its Schaumburg Headquarters.
Position Summary:
Working under the direct supervision of the VP of Marketing, the primary functions of this role are to coordinate with the marketing team to design and produce management reports, analysis, and presentations that are required on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze and provide insights into monthly P&L trends, prepare management reporting for board of directors
- Analyze and prepare trend reports for weekly committees
- Create reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI
- Direct participation in the monthly budget reporting and tracking
- Analyze loyalty and promotional activities as well other special projects as assigned
- Gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding loyalty campaigns, business profitability, category direction and growth
Education & Experience
- BA/BS degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Applied Economics, or Finance
- 0-3 years of experience
- Microsoft Power BI and Excel experience
- Programming skills desired

- Ability to work under pressure and to balance multiple tasks simultaneously with strict attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
- Strong problem solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Aptitude for making sense of large, complex datasets
- Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality
