Road Ranger, a multi-state Travel Center company, is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join its Finance Department at its Schaumburg Headquarters!

Position Summary:
Working under the direct supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the primary functions of this role are to design and produce Management reports, analysis, and presentations that are required on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Analyze and provide insights into monthly P&L trends, prepare management reporting for board of directors
Analyze and prepare trend reports for weekly committees
Create reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI
Direct participation in the yearly budgeting process and monthly budget reporting and tracking
Analyze greenfield investments and other special projects as assigned
Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, business profitability and operating forecasts

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Applied Economics, or Finance
0-3 years of experience
Microsoft Power BI and Excel experience
Programming skills desired

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Ability to work under pressure and to balance multiple tasks simultaneously with strict attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
Strong problem solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills
Aptitude for making sense of large, complex datasets
Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality

Pay Range: $50,000-$65,000 annually
